arroyo grande, California - housing element Update

LWC was hired by the City of Arroyo Grande to update the Housing Element of the General Plan for the period 2007 to 2015. The work is in progress. Arroyo Grande is a small jurisdiction in San Luis Obispo County known for its strong agricultural background and a historic downtown.

LWC is working closely with City Staff to craft a Housing Element that complies with State law and is uniquely appropriate for Arroyo Grande. The Housing Element will draw from the recently updated Zoning Ordinance and will focus on preserving the City's rural character and promoting mixed-use developments that include affordable housing units.
