City of cincinnati, ohio - form-based code study

Lisa Wise Consulting, in partnership with Opticos Design Inc., was retained by the City of Cincinnati, OH, to create a form-based code development framework for several neighborhoods in the City. LWC helped the City build in-house capacity to develop and implement form-based codes.

LWC conducted a study that evaluated existing conditions in twelve neighborhoods. The project focused on existing zoning and regulations, economic conditions, and demographics. The study informed a set of options for the development and implementation of form-based code in the study area.
