town of tiburon, California - zoning ordinance Update

In 2008, Lisa Wise Consulting was retained by the Town of Tiburon to conduct a Zoning Ordinance update. The objectives of the update were to clearly and accurately communicate the Town's development requirements with revised text, tables, and graphics and bring the Zoning Ordinance up to date with current State law to create a more resilient, usable document for the community.

The update process began with an extensive review of past studies, maps, and existing conditions. LWC worked closely with Staff to understand the shortcomings of the existing Ordinance and opportunities for improvement. The final product was a Zoning Ordinance that provided major improvements and clarity to regulations, consistent with the Town's goals.
